Creek Stomping in Lancaster County!
We will start at the Millcreek Trail head and enter knee deep water. You’ll be able to see fish and lots of other wildlife like cranes (and deer – if we’re lucky). We will slowly make our way up-stream through small rapids and pockets of still water, approaching a small swimming hole for a break – then continue up stream for slightly faster water and opportunities to catch crayfish with nets and learn about other local wildlife. Shortly after we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on large rocks and admire the breathtaking views. After lunch we’ll continue upstream and exit the water after 1 mile of creek stomping. This is a great family activity!
What else you should know
This is a guided walking tour through knee deep water for adults and could be waste deep for children. It’s a very casual stroll but is not appropriate for adults or children who are afraid of water.
